Overnight care

Overnight care refers to a type of healthcare or support service that is provided during the nighttime hours, typically when individuals require assistance or monitoring while they sleep.

At Open Doors Healthcare we provide Overnight Care Services in the service users' own homes to suit their needs and the level of care attention they require. Our Overnight Care Plan encompass a range of services, tailor-made to suit each service user's needs and circumstances. This may involve personal care assistance, medication management, wound care, monitoring of oxygen levels or medical equipment, providing comfort measures, responding to any emergencies or concerns that may arise during the night and providing assistance as required.

The purpose of overnight care is to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of service users who may be vulnerable or have specific care requirements during the night. This can include individuals with chronic illnesses, those recovering from surgery or medical procedures, seniors with mobility issues, individuals with disabilities, or other circumstances that necessitate additional attention during the night including all other service users who need assistance with activities of daily living.

Through overnight care, we support our service users and their families to have peace of mind, knowing that there is support available throughout the night to ensure their safety and well-being.

Waking Nights

Our sleep-in service is more suited for service users  who generally don’t tend to wake up during the night, but would like the comfort and reassurance that someone is at home with them should they ever need assistance. Like our waking night solution, sleep-in care assistants arrive at 8pm/10pm and sleepover until 7am/8am the next morning depending on the needs of the individual.
